Launched in 1984, the Transformers toyline was promoted through both a comic book by Marvel Comics and an animated series produced by Sunbow Productions. Although the comic outlived the animated series by a number of years, it was the animated series that truly captured the hearts and minds of children worldwide more so than any other piece of Transformers media from its twenty year history. This new way to play would be supported by ads, yes, but also by entire TV series. And the toys would be aimed not just at nerds but at everyone.
The toy mixes a child’s voice to make it sound like it’s coming through a car stereo, just as Bumblebee communicated. It features realistic robotic battle sounds and “radio tune-in” phrases to add more fun. Transformers quickly became a favorite among children, and much of that enthusiasm continues in collectors to this day. I would only recommend this to older children because of the complexity involved. Any Tranformers fan would love this figure. For this fan, who isn’t ten years old nor does he have a ten year old child, the Bumble Bee voice mixer helmet and Plasma Cannon are the coolest things in the line. The voice changer helmet takes it up a notch and even has a karaoke type feature but it is the fact that the Plasma Cannon plays Stan Bush’s classic “The Touch” makes it a must have! Kids can pretend to be a TRANSFORMERS robot by wearing the new BUMBLEBEE MOVIE VOICE MIXER HELMET that lets a child mix their own voice with music and includes ?tune-in radio phrases,? This awesome arm blaster converts from BUMBLEBEE?S robot arm to his plasma cannon and features lights and signature TRANSFORMERS sound effects.
Complete figures, accessories or single toys are available. The Transformers leaders are Optimus Prime and Megatron, who originally traveled from the metal world of Cybertron to Earth in search of new sources of energy.

The attraction of the Transformers is in their transformation. Why can’t we make an issue out of transformation, design and produce toys that are loved by today’s childred? With the release of the movie in 2007, the Transformers action figure toys are becoming more and more popular. The first movie was like the first experience seeing my childhood toys in real action, so this is kind of understandable. But Transformers 2 is awesomely far out than the first movie, the first time I saw the twins Skids and Mudflap compacted into one crappy looking car before they were converted into two separate new vehicles.
